Cloud Computing Companies By Ramzy Zreineh

The term ‘cloud computing' comes from the visual image of a cloud of data that floats out on the Internet, and which can be accessed from anywhere there's an Internet connection, on any computing device. In this report I will introduce you this system and will talk about its advantages and disadvantages and how it will benefit small enterprises and Bethlehem University.
Cloud computing is a new system in which software applications, processing power, data and potentially even artificial intelligence can be accessed over the Internet. Many private individuals now regularly use an online e-mail service such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail  . These activities are just the beginning of cloud computing capabilities. Icloud, Okta and Giga spaces are some examples of Cloud computing companies
Cloud computing companies help companies or individuals who have good business Ideas but don’t have enough money for office space, private servers, networks, storage space and a team of experts, in these situation these people, don’t have a chance to even start working as its expensive to finance their business ideas . Through cloud computing companies they can share software, servers, data and other devices instead of developing their own networks and servers.
Cloud computing has a lot of benefits that help companies and institutions to reduce costs and raise profits. Here are some of these benefits:
Reduces Costs:
It helps to reduce costs, both capital and operating, through economies of scale. To use an analogy, it is like replacing the electricity generator in your home by plugging into an electricity supply. Because you need only a computer and to be connected to the Internet costs are significantly reduced.
Increased Storage:
Organizations can store more data than on private computer systems, as their data and information is stored online.
Highly Automated:
No longer do IT personnel need to worry about keeping software up to date, as software and other applications are automatically updated.
Flexibility & more mobility.
Because this information can be accessed wherever they are, rather than having to remain at their desks in the office. Cloud computing offers much more flexibility than past computing methods.
Allows IT staff to Shift Focus:
No longer having to worry about constant server updates and other computing issues, allows the IT staff to concentrate on innovation and creativity to improve services and outputs.
There are a few disadvantages to using cloud computing systems; these include the additional cost of data transfer fees. You also don’t have control over the remote servers, their software, or their security. Third, your data is at the mercy of a third-party company so you better make sure you trust them. And finally it may be difficult, or even impossible to migrate massive amounts of data from the provider.
Cloud computing is the new solution for small companies and individuals, who have business ideas and do not have the capability to have their own servers to apply their ideas. And cloud computing is a way to reduce costs and to Increase efficiency.
Bethlehem University uses the traditional computing system as it has its own servers and it pays a huge amount of money for storage, cooling, experts to repair the servers. At the same time this server has a low speed and storage space. My recommendation is to change this system to a cloud computing system which would allow everybody at the university to benefit from it and it will reduce costs which make it more efficient and capable to compete with other universities around the world.
